15 Qualities and Characteristics of Great Leadership
When I was growing up, home economics and shop were classes that we had to take, but since budgets were small and there was no vision for these classes, they remained hollowed-out shells of what they were and what they could have been. What they should have been is the opportunities to develop leadership, budgeting, how to run a home, and the basics of how to take care of oneself.
This would have made children more useful in their homes, and have the skills to raise their own families. Instead, we got liberal things like coming up with commercials to save the planet and some basic sewing.
Leadership is both something that people possess and what they can learn. Great leadership comes with time, preparation, and surrounding yourself with the best team possible– whether that team is at work, at your church or social gathering, or your own family.
So, what do you need to have if you’re going to be a great leader? I’m glad you asked! We’re going to start this new series on leadership taking a long look at fifteen qualities and characteristics of great leadership.
The first one is next Monday, so stay tuned.
