imageOne of the things that I really want to get the kids to work on is there computer skills.  As a homeschooling parent, I have to make sure that my kids get all of their schooling in, but as a computer geek, I also want to make sure that they’re ahead when it comes to computer stuff.

That’s the reason that I want to get them learning Small Basic.  I also know that they need to get learning how to type.  So, for a while, I’ve been attempting to find a good typing program online, and this might just help them and me become better typers.  What do you think?

I think this is the first post I’ve attempted to write on my Viewsonic gTablet.  I definitely can’t type as fast as I can on a traditional keyboard, that’s for sure.

What do you usually use to write blogging content online?  I know that many use the website itself–which has come a long way!  I can remember writing posts at BraveJournal and that seems really primitive now.  Today I use Windows Live Writer because of how easy it is to get the formatting right, having local drafts, and having one interface to all blogs.

But now I’m giving WordPress on Android a try.  It would certainly make it so that I could blog anywhere.  I wonder if I can get used to not having feedback on the keyboard?
